Patch update 0.1.1 has been released. This addresses a multitude of bugs (some game-breaking) found during testing, and adds a few QOL/debugging features. Most notably: the ability to delete a save/delete all saves from the load world screen, and a developer information panel that can be accessed by enabling "Developer Mode" in settings and pressing Tilde.
Keybind changes (until a key binding config area is added these notices will be necessary): The Tilde key no longer switches layers, it opens the developer information panel when accessible. Use the L key instead.

+ Added developer mode information panel for some basic world and diagnostic information. + Added buttons for deleting saves on the load world screen + Added warning box when certain non-fatal errors occur * Made the surface elevated layer translucent * Changed collision system to use native functions built into the KinematicBody2D node (as opposed to a bunch of raycasts) * Fixed bug: Any saves past index 0 will not load * Fixed bug: Footstep sounds don't work on loaded worlds until z index is changed * Fixed bug: Collisions don't work on loaded worlds until z index is changed * Fixed bug: Music does not play on loaded worlds * Fixed bug: Time of day does not reset between world loads * Fixed bug: Movement is broken on loaded worlds * Fixed bug: Player renders above leaves * Fixed bug: Light occlusion from surface mountains are still visible underground * Fixed bug: Player is allowed to switch z index while loading (may cause crash) * Fixed bug: Some buttons don't have click sounds * Fixed bug: Footstep sounds only play once when on grass and stone (speed calculation error) * Fixed bug: Time of day doesn't update on loaded worlds (world configuration isn't saving) * Fixed bug: Map information is still visible when no map is selected on the load screen (may cause crash) * Fixed bug: Movement enable toggle inverts if level is loaded twice in a row * Fixed bug: Collisions are completely broken due to use of raycasts
